What kind of puppies do you breed?
We currently breed F1 mini Goldendoodles, F1B Mini Goldendoodles and F1 Cavapoos.
An F1B Goldendoodle is the result of breeding an F1 Goldendoodle (50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever) and a Poodle. This results in a stronger occurrence of desirable Poodle traits, for example, less shedding and allergy-friendly. Mini Goldendoodles are known for being friendly, outgoing, intelligent, and can be highly obedient with proper training. They love to play!
An F1 Cavapoo is 50% King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and 50% Poodle. Cavapoos are known for their sweet, gentle natures, and it’s this relaxed temperament along with their strong love and devotion to their families that makes them great companions.
An F1 Goldendoodle is 50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever, with full-blooded parents. They are the first generation crossing the two breeds. Most of them love activity, water, snow, and any adventure in general! They are also smart and easy to train!
How big will my puppy get?
Puppy sizes will vary from litter to litter, depending on the size of the parents. F1 mini Goldendoodles get around 20-30 pounds, F1B mini Goldendoodles get around 10-25 pounds, and F1 Cavapoos get around 12-18 pounds.
Are your dogs health tested?
The health of dogs is pivotal to our breeding program. All of our parent dogs have been health tested, or their parents have been, to ensure you’ll get a healthy puppy. Our puppies all come with a 1-year health guarantee. See our Health Guarantee page to learn more.
Do you offer delivery?
We have several options; you can pick up the puppy here at Darby Acre Doodles, we can meet you at the Columbus, OH airport for $100, or we can likely work something out and meet you in central Pennsylvania, as we travel there frequently. We can also provide you with a contact that does puppy transportation and you can make that arrangement. We prefer no Sunday pick up or meeting at the airport.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, we certainly do! If you refer someone to Darby Acre Doodles and they end up getting a puppy from us you will receive a $50 gift card from us. Pass off one of our business cards with your name written on it or make sure your referrals mention your name when they contact us.
Do you have offer any discounts?
Yes, we do! If you ever get your second puppy from Darby Acre Doodles, you’ll get 10% off your puppy! If you get two puppies from the same litter, you get $100 off per puppy!
When can I pick up my puppy?
You can pick up your puppy when it turns 8 weeks old! If it doesn’t work with your schedule to pick up your puppy right then, no problem! We can keep the puppy for you at no extra cost until your puppy is 10 weeks old, then after that, there is a $25/week boarding fee.
What all is included with my puppy?
Your puppy will come home with a canvas tote bag that’s personalized with our logo, and inside it will be a small bag of food, a few toys, and a small blanket with the mom’s scent. Also included will be a small booklet with your puppy’s vaccine and parasite control records, etc. and several of our business cards that you can pass on to others who may be interested in getting a puppy from us here at Darby Acre Doodles!
